Hello.
Welcome to Strange Depths, ladies, gentlemen, and whatever small children are in the audience.
My name is Kevin, and known otherwise on the interwebs as Krrackknut or Kraken, depending on your own personal preference. I am your ringmaster, your entertainer, your storyteller. Allow me to dim the lights and set the stage.
This blog is an experiment. For some time now, a few individuals have told me that I should write a blog. After several years, I relented, and this is what you see before you. I believed that a blog should have a theme, a common thread, a purpose.
The only problem is, I have no idea what this purpose was. For this reason I put off making a blog for many a year.
I made an account nevertheless (courtesy of those lovely people at Blogspot who made this much easier than I ever imagined), and made this rather tiny corner of the internet my home. In time I may discard it, as a hermit crab does. Until then I shall be here, doing and saying whatever does strike my fancy.
So come with me as we find out what it is that should be written in a blog.
